All That Glitters...

Yes! It’s here! The one time of year that it is totally, unequivocally, utterly acceptable, and even expected to go all out and dress to get noticed! And what is the best way to get noticed in a crowd? To sparkle of course!

Here are some of my picks for holiday dressing.

This black sequined boyfriend blazer would look amazing paired with skinny jeans and high heeled booties or a super short skirt in a bright jewel-toned color like cranberry or emerald. This might seem like a big statement item, but because it is black, it can actually perform like a neutral depending on how you style it. Wear it with confidence and your personality will shine through. This sequin jacket by Kensie ($128) is one of Rachel Zoe's picks for holiday dressing and can be found at http://www.piperlime.com/

The beautiful midnight blue dress below might just be the perfect thing to wear while kissing someone special as the clock strikes 12. I especially love the vintage-inspired beaded bodice and nearly floor-grazing skirt. I would actually prefer the dress with less of a heel than this model is wearing, so that the skirt does actually graze the floor - you will appear to float effortlessly around the room like the belle of the ball. And the best part of all...it's only $61 !!! Go get it now at http://www.lulus.com/

This last look is my favorite - from the total sex-pot hair and the black tuxedo jacket over a basic white tank to the absolute stunner of a gold sequined skirt. Her strappy super-high heels are perfect for making her already long legs seem to go on forever. And notice the lack of jewelry... the skirt is the real star here, let it shine!  Well done Victoria's Secret!

So what will Samantha and I choose to wear for our holiday festivities? Guess you'll have to check back to find out ;)
