If you haven't yet had the Eataly experience, well, we don't need to tell you that you're missing out. We ventured out into the cold on Saturday for the sole purpose of indulging in the ultimate comfort food: Napoletani pizza. Since we couldn't jet set straight to Naples, we decided to check out La Pizza, the gourmet pizzeria inside this Italian food megastore, co-owed Mario Batali - orange croc-wearing, chef of the moment. You could spend hours in this place browsing the various stands that boast fresh everything: bread, pasta, meat, fish, produce, the list goes on. Not to mention, they encourage you to carry around a class of vino whilst you peruse. The next time you're in Flatiron, make sure Eataly is on your list of places to stop. And if you happen to be walking by during the summer months, we hear the new beer garden, Birreria, is a dream. Happy eating!
