Oh, to live in the uber-chic/causal-yet-refined world that Michael Kors designs for...his clothing always leaves me dreaming for a vacation lounging fireside at a luxe ski cabin in Aspen or trekking effortlessly through Morocco (without a bead of sweat in sight, of course).
Even though Mr. Kors' designs do leave me with the propensity to daydream, I also find them incredibly wearable in the real world. You know, for keeping warm at an outdoor brunch on a crisp fall morning or for staying cool while navigating the urban jungle of NYC in the humid summer months. Here are a few of my favorite looks from his Spring and Fall 2012 Ready-To-Wear collections.
Spring 2012 RTW: Moroccan Safari
Fall 2012 RTW: Rustic Mountain Retreat
Also notice the use of sturdy/sensible shoes on the models. An ambulatory New Yorker himself (I've personally spotted him strolling in the West Village), Mr. Kors obviously understands that wearable shoes do have a place in fashion.
Bravo! As usual, I love it all!
Cheers,
Rebecca
