Having a Moment: PJs

We just have one question: is it ever appropriate to wear pajamas outside of the bedroom?  We think absolutely not.  But somehow this trend has caught on with the fashion elite who have been photographed all over the place looking like they just rolled out of bed.  Pairing it with heels and high-end accessories does not make this trend any more palatable.  Let's review:

Pajamas: check. Bed head: check. Sunglasses to sooth her hungover eyes: check.  The only effort that was put into this get-up is a swipe of red lipstick, which could very well be leftover from the night before.

We hope to God this woman is just outside her apartment grabbing a quick coffee, because anywhere else would be just embarrassing.

We love Rachel Roy, but this look is a mess. Not even a hot mess. She should know better.

Let us not forget the most notoriously inapproriate sporting of pajamas as daywear: Michael Jackson (R.I.P.) at a 2005 court appearance, for which he showed up an hour late.  At least he has an excuse for his attire: he likely did just roll out of bed.

We. Would. Never. We just don't get it.  Sorry we're not sorry.  But for some reason, pajamas are having a moment.
