New Yorkers will find any excuse to party and Cinco de Mayo is no exception. Each year, people across the US and Mexico celebrate Mexican heritage and pride on May 5th - a day marked to commemorate freedom and democracy during the American Civil War, as well as Mexico's victory over France in the Battle of Puebla. For New Yorkers, it means a lot of margaritas. We took part in the festivities (although we didn't go too crazy) and snapped a few photos, sombrero included.
And then there was this guy...His eyes followed us everywhere. Creepy.
Cheers!
Sam and Rebecca
