I can't wait for Baz Lurhmann's remake of The Great Gatsby starting Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire - have you seen the newly released trailer? It looks amazing! F. Scott Fitzgerald's iconic American novel is one of my all-time favorites. It was first made into a film in 1974 with Robert Redford as Jay Gatsby and Mia Farrow as Daisy Buchanan - I own and love this original and am excited to see how Mr. Lurhmann will give a modern and most likely quirky twist to this classic story of indulgence, love, lust and tragedy. Christmas 2013 cannot come soon enough!!
