Almost Famous

Almost Famous is one of my all-time favourite movies.  I'm convinced every time I watch it, and other movies set in the sixties and seventies, that I was born in the wrong era.  The music, the lifestyle, the romances and friendships and, of course, the fashion all make this movie an incredible experience for me every time I watch it.  I don't watch it too often, but when I do, I feel like I'm catching up with old friends (cheesy, but true).  Inspired by the the style of the one and only Penny Lane, below is my idea of the perfect summer outfit for exploring the city, taking in a concert or lounging around at the cottage.
