This year on August 5 it will be 50 years since the tragic overdose-related death of Marilyn Monroe at the young age of 36. It seems that even now, five decades later, the infatuation with her insurmountable beauty and perpetually chic style has not waned. This weekend I watched My Week with Marilyn. Michelle Williams was given rave reviews for her spot-on portrayal of Ms. Monroe. She truly became Marilyn in this role, after seeing it I cannot image that any other actress of our current time could have done such an amazing of a job as Michelle. She was born to play this part.
