Olympics 2012 - the most fashionable Games yet?

Surprisingly, fashion was a hot topic surrounding the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony that took place Friday night. Many of the teams uniforms were designed by top designers including Ralph Lauren (USA), Stella McCartney (Great Britian), Hermes (French equestrian team), Armani and Prada (Italy).

A significant amount of controversy surrounds Ralph Lauren's design for Team USA with the biggest issue being that the uniforms were manufactured in China. Critics argue that it would have been more patriotic if they had been Made in America.

Samantha and I took in the show at a bar, wine in hand of course. And we agree it was a rather fashion-foward event. What did you think of the opening ceremony and the teams uniforms?
