This past Friday, my friend Maury and I ventured to Long Island City, Queens to MoMA PS1 to meet Wendy. Wendy is the creation of architects Matthias Hollwich and Marc Kushner and the 2012 winner of the Young Architects Program. Not only is Wendy cool to look at but it (she?) also makes a positive environmental impact by cleaning the air of pollutants. Win-win, right? You can read more here and here.
