I have a confession, I just spent 45 minutes reading the blog Suri's Burn Book...true story. Also, I loved every minute of it. Samantha sent me the link a few days back and I briefly looked at it while at work, had a quick laugh and moved on. While cleaning out my inbox on Sunday (yes, my life is THAT exciting), I decided to give the site a second look. The blog is written in the voice of Suri Cruise by Allie Hagan (who has a book coming out in September of the same name). Basically the blog (and I assume the book) are a hilarious commentary of Suri's life - she comments frequently on the clothing choices of her peers (celeb children and their parents) as well as provides a narrative of her own highly-publicized life (example below).
We at Fashion Outsiders decided a while back that while we find websites that poke-fun at other people's style choices super funny and a necessary contribution to society, that we wanted to mostly exude a positive outlook on our site. But we give mad props to Ms. Hagan and "Suri" for this endeavor...very nicely played. This site is making me question the direction of our own blog, but for now we'll let Suri do the criticizing, because she does it so well. Check her out in action here. Also very funny is Allie Hagan's personal website, follow her here.
